The Center collects, develops, manages, analyzes and disseminates
data relevant to both the scientific and academic communities
and to the general public on the use, management, and protection
of natural resources throughout the State and region. Data will
be collected through both individual research projects and public
surveys conducted in cooperation with the Human Dimensions Laboratory
in the Department of Forestry, Wildlife and Fisheries at the
University of Tennessee. The Center also devotes resources to
collecting, organizing and disseminating secondary baseline
data from other sources, such as state and federal agencies.
