Dr. Donald G. Hodges
, Professor was named Director of the Natural Resource Policy Center in July, 2005. Dr. Hodges is a tenured faculty member in the Department of Forestry, Wildlife and Fisheries. His research program focuses on natural resource economics and policy, environmental and natural resource management, and policy analysis. Dr. Hodges previously held faculty appointments at the University of New Hampshire Department of Natural Resources, Mississippi State University College of Forest Resources, and Tulane University Department of Environmental Health Sciences. He also served as a postdoctoral research associate with the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service and as Assistant Director of the Entergy Spatial Analysis Research Laboratory. He has served as a consultant to the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service, U.S. Department of Energy, and several environmental and forest management industries.

Dr. Karen O. Lannom
, is a Research Associate in the Department of Forestry, Wildlife and Fisheries and began working for the Natural Resources Policy Center in October, 2005. She primarily provides support for the Cumberlands Habitat Conservation Plan project. Previously she worked as a remote sensing and GIS specialist for the USDA Forest Service, at the Remote Sensing Applications Center located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Lannom earned her B.S. in Forestry and Wildlife from Virginia Tech and her M.S. and PhD in Forest Science from Michigan Tech.
